BMW posts record motorcycle sales in U.S. in 2015

(January 9, 2016) WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J.  — BMW Motorrad USA has set a new all-time year-end sales record. With 16,330 units sold in 2015, BMW motorcycle sales grew 9.3 percent above the total 14,945 units sold in 2014.

The S 1000 RR supersports bike, featured in the film Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation, was BMW’s best-selling model (accounting for 13.3 percent of total 2015 volume). Other best-selling models included the ever-popular R 1200 GS Adventure (12.2 percent of total volume) and the R 1200 GS (11.5 percent of total volume).

Renault-Nissan to launch more than 10 autonomous vehicles in 4 years

Post Office to issue four iconic pickup trucks on 2016 stamps

(January 8, 2016) The United States Postal Service has announced that four iconic pickup trucks will appear on Forever Stamps in 2016. The date of the stamp release will be announced at a later date.

Cadillac's global sales grow 24.5% in December, 7.5 percent in 2015

(January 7, 2016) DETROIT — Driven by sharp increases in the U.S. and China, Cadillac global sales increased 24.5% in December.  Cadillac completed 2015 with global growth of 7.5%, an increase of more than 19,000 for a total of 277,868 luxury vehicles.

“Cadillac’s global expansion is building momentum, driven by increasing product substance and disciplined growth strategies,” said Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen.
