New models drive Ford's European sales up 10 percent

(October 8, 2015) COLOGNE, Germany — Ford’s European vehicle sales increased again in September driven by strong demand for its all-new or significantly freshened vehicle line-up, led by the new Mondeo, the company’s SUV range and commercial vehicle family.

Ford sold a total of 140,300 vehicles in its 20 traditional European markets last month, and 978,800 vehicles in the first nine months of the year — a year-over-year increase of 8 percent and 10 percent, respectively.

Subaru, Center for Pet Safety reveal pet travel seats offer little crash protection

(October 7, 2015) CHERRY HILL, N.J. —  Subaru of America has announced the completion of a Pet Travel Seat Pilot Study as part of its continued partnership with Center for Pet Safety (CPS), a registered non-profit research and consumer advocacy organization and found travel seats offer little or not protection during a crash.

Subaru and CPS have tested pet products most commonly used by pet parents when traveling. Phase one tested pet harnesses, phase two tested pet crates and carriers, and now, phase three has tested pet travel seats.
