Porsche reports global sales growth in September

(October 12, 2015) ATLANTA — Porsche has announced increased sales worldwide in September. The Stuttgart-based sports car maker continues to see sales figures climb, with 7,005 new cars delivered in Europe during September, representing gains of 51 percent. The U.S. market is also maintaining a successful course with 4,424 vehicles delivered in September, up 23 percent over September 2014.

BMW UK engine plant ramps up production of next-generation engines

BMW sets September, nine-month motorcycle sales records

As compared to the already strong September 2014 11 percent  more motorcycles and maxi scooters were supplied to customers. As of September, worldwide sales likewise reached a new all-time high of 112,411 units sold, an increase of 12.2 percent. For the first time the 100,000 mark was exceeded in August.

Hyundai joins industry in celebrating National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day

(October 9, 2015) FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. — Automotive manufacturers, environmental groups and government organizations joined forces Thursday, the first National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day, to raise awareness for zero-emissions fuel cell and hydrogen energy technologies.

Hyundai, the first to offer a mass-produced fuel cell vehicle in the U.S. market, has made its Tucson CUV available in Southern California since June 2014. This early leadership in the zero-emissions hydrogen-powered segment has already reduced greenhouse gas emissions and improved air quality in the region.
