Chevrolet unveils updated 2016 Silverado in Dallas

(September 24, 2015) DALLAS — The new 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 brings muscular designs and new customer-focused technologies to the full-sized pickup. The new Silverados make their public debut today at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas.

“The new 2016 Silverado will build on the Chevy truck legacy of dependability,” said Sandor Piszar, marketing director for Chevrolet trucks.

Petty’s Garage Custom Mustang leads sales at Texas auction

(September 24, 2015) WALWORTH, Wis. — Mecum Auctions’ sale this past weekend in Dallas achieved an overall total of $24,809,893 sold with the auction’s highest hammer price claimed by a 2015 Mustang GT customized by Petty’s Garage and benefiting Paralyzed Veterans of America.

In just four days, 699 cars changed hands at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. The large and fervent crowd kept energy at a high all weekend and led to strong sales in the Lone Star State.

Chevrolet Impala lives without an engine

Cascada — Buick's first convertible in 25 years to start at $33,990

(September 24, 2015) DETROIT — The top-down driving experience of the 2016 Cascada — Buick’s first convertible offered in the United States in 25 years — is priced at $33,990. When it goes on sale early next year, the Cascada will offer more standard content, a more powerful standard engine and a lower starting price than the Audi A3 Cabriolet.

2016 Acura TLX carries starting price of $31,695

(September 23, 2015) TORRANCE, Calif. — Fast on the heels of a very successful first year, the Acura TLX will enter 2016 with momentum when it goes on sale Sept. 24 with a starting price of $31,695 for the TLX with 8-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) and $35,750 for the same model with the Technology Package. The prices for all five models with the 9-speed automatic transmission are unchanged from mid-model year 2015.

New face of Buick introduced in teaser photo of 2017 LaCrosse

Volkswagen unveils new 2016 Passat in New York

The 2016 Passat features a winning combination of design, interior and cargo space, class-leading technology, available driver assistance systems, and powerful, yet frugal, engines.

In addition, a revised trim structure will enhance the Passat’s value story.

Nissan restyles the 2016 Altima with its latest design language

Subaru to expand its U.S. plant in Indiana

(September 22, 2015) Subaru will invest $140 million to expand annual production capacity by 100,000 vehicles at its sole U.S. plant, the Automotive News reported on Monday. The Subaru of Indiana plant in Lafayette, one of the automaker’s three plants worldwide, will gain 1,204 jobs by 2017.

The factory currently employs more than 3,800 workers and produces about 300,000 vehicles per year, according to a press release.
