(October 15, 2013) DEARBORN, Mich. — The Lincoln Motor Company announces the third installment of The Lincoln Reimagine Project in conjunction with Architectural Digest and world-renowned non-profit firm Architecture for Humanity.

For this project, the Burrows Street pocket park will be created in the Portola neighborhood of San Francisco, transformed into an enriching and valuable city destination. The story will be told through content created by the Architectural Digest Marketing Department.

(October 15, 2013) SHANGHAI — In September, General Motors and its joint ventures sold 277,647 vehicles in China, a record for the month. Sales increased 13.7 percent from September 2012.

GM’s Shanghai GM and SAIC-GM-Wuling manufacturing joint ventures as well as all of their brands had all-time record September domestic sales. Shanghai GM’s sales were up 10.6 percent year on year to 132,783 units and SAIC-GM-Wuling’s sales increased 16.9 percent to 139,676 units. FAW-GM’s sales were also up, rising 3.3 percent to 4,733 units.

(October 15, 2013) ARLINGTON, Tex. — The first of three mammoth stamping presses is up and running at General Motors’ newest stamping facility here. The $200 million contiguous stamping plant announced in 2012 adds 180 jobs to GM’s Arlington manufacturing complex and is one of 10 contiguous stamping operations globally that started production in the last five years.
