(April 3, 2013) SHANGHAI — General Motors and its joint ventures reached all-time highs for sales in China during March and the first quarter of 2013. Sales in March increased 12.6 percent on an annual basis to 290,538 units. It was the second-highest monthly sales total in GM’s history in China.
(April 3, 2013) WINDSOR, Ontario — Chrysler Canada on Tuesday announced its 40th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth, representing the longest sales streak in the company’s history and the longest current streak in the industry. March 2013 sales were 24,173 compared with 22,703 vehicles sold in March, 2012, which represents a 6 per cent increase.

The Honda brand posted March 2013 sales of 121,938 units, an increase of 5.3 percent compared with March 2012. Acura U.S. March sales of 14,100 units increased 26.3 percent compared with March 2012.

Year-to-date sales for Subaru total 92,527 — a 15 percent increase over the same period in 2012 and represent the best first quarter in company history.
(April 2, 2013) DEARBORN, Mich. — Ford’s newest vehicles — Fusion and Escape — set all-time monthly sales records in March, driving Ford Motor Company’s best U.S. sales results since May 2007. The Fusion posted an all-time record monthly and quarterly sales volume in March with 30,284 vehicles sold for the month and 80,558 during the first quarter crossing the 30,000 monthly and 80,000 quarterly vehicle sale thresholds for the first time ever in Fusion sales history.
