Nissan to expand its vehicle quick-charging infrastructure in U.S.

(February 1, 2013) WASHINGTON — Nissan on Thursday outlined its strategy for tripling the current electric vehicle quick-charging infrastructure in the United States with the addition of at least 500 quick-charging stations in the next 18 months, including the greater Washington D.C. area's first fast-charge network.

(February 1, 2013) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Chrysler today introduced the limited-edition Mopar ’13 Dodge Dart, marking the fourth special-edition Mopar-badged vehicle created since the company partnered with Fiat S.p.A in 2009. The car will be shown at next week’s Chicago Auto Show. Building on the success of the Mopar ’10 Challenger, Mopar ’11 Charger and the Mopar ’12 300, the limited-edition Mopar ’13 Dart will be built and customized with Mopar performance parts and accessories.

Kia introduces all-new 2014 compact Forte sedan

(February 1, 2013) SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Following a successful debut at the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show, Kia says its all-new 2014 Forte is poised to take the compact car segment by storm. 

Sitting on an all-new chassis that is longer, wider and lower than the previous-generation Forte, the all-new Forte will offer more room, more performance and more premium amenities when it goes on sale in the first quarter of 2013. The Forte will be offered in LX and EX variants with a choice of an efficient 1.8-liter engine or a more powerful 2.0-liter engine.
