GM, Peugeot Citroen confirm projects for strategic alliance

(October 27, 2012) PSA Peugeot Citroen and General Motors on Friday confirmed important steps toward the execution of their Global Strategic Alliance. Consistent with terms of the master agreement signed Feb. 29, the Alliance partners have selected four vehicle projects and confirmed the next steps in joint purchasing organization.

Ford set to take center stage at the SEMA show

(October 27, 2012) DEARBORN, Mich. — Ford will have in excess of 70 vehicles, hundreds of accessories and performance parts, and many of its brightest stars on hand in Las Vegas next week for the 2012 SEMA show.

The Ford brand will be on display, in strength, inside the Las Vegas Convention Center and out front as well, with products ranging from classic hot rod roadsters from the 1930s to its newest products available in showrooms today.

DUB takes 2013 Avalon to different place for SEMA Show

Harley-Davidson Museum unveils tsunami motorcycle

Nissan displays accident-avoiding steering system

(October 25, 2012) YOKOHAMA, Japan — Nissan used its advanced technology briefing earlier this month to unveil its "Autonomous Emergency Steering System," potentially helping drivers avoid accidents.

The system offers a high level of collision avoidance capability by applying automatic braking and automatic steering in situations where a collision is imminent and evading obstacles by braking may not be effective.
