James Bond’s Aston Martin could raise $239,000 for charity

(September 8, 2012) LONDON — A 2008 Aston Martin six-liter V12 DBS 2-Door coupe used by Daniel Craig in “Quantum of Solace” is among 40 lots of James Bond memorabilia to go under the hammer Oct. 5 at a charity auction in London.

“The Aston Martin DBS plays a dramatic role in the opening sequence of the film, in which Bond skillfully navigates winding roads,” Christie’s International said today in an e-mailed release. The car is expected to fetch as much as $239,000 (150,000 pounds).

'Freddie Mercury' Renault Twizy star of event

Nissan begins production of 2013 Sentra in Mexico

Nissan increases European market share for third straight month
