Volvo opens New York City pop up store for S90

(June 27, 2016) ROCKELIGH — Volvo Car USA officially opened its temporary pop up store in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. Now through July 4th, the store will feature its new flagship luxury sedan, the all-new S90.

Customers and those interested in the new Volvo S90 will be able to meet product specialists and experience advanced connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and the Volvo On Call app which enables you to remotely start your car with both Apple Watch and fingerprint touch on iPhone 6s.

“This pop up store allows us to showcase our new S90 flagship sedan and our brand, which is going through a significant transformation, to an entire new audience,” said Bodil Eriksson, VP, Product, Marketing, Communication. “The New York metro market is the largest for Volvo so this is a fantastic opportunity for us to meet customers where they are living, working and visiting.”

Widely praised by journalists for its interior and exterior design, the S90 luxury sedan is the first car in the U.S. to feature semi-autonomous drive capabilities standard. The launch of the new S90 forms the second phase in the complete renewal of Volvo’s product range, which began in 2015 with the XC90 SUV. The S90 luxury sedan will arrive at dealerships across the country this summer.

Customers interested in purchasing a S90 can reserve theirs right from the Volvo store or via the Volvo Concierge and will complete the purchase through their local retailer. For additional information, on the Volvo New York City Pop Up Store, visit: https://volvos90events.com/
