Unique styling set the 1949-1953 Studebaker trucks apart from the competition. The so-called 2R5 trucks arrived in 1948 — the first post-war redesign. Robert Bourke, a member of the Loewy Studios design team under contract with Studebaker, was the lead designer. This 1952 example was found in a Texas salvage yard.
