New York Auto Show unveils 2015 poster artwork

(February 11, 2015) NEW YORK — As the world's automakers prepare to show off their latest new cars and trucks in the Big Apple, the New York International Automobile Show is pleased to announce the launch of the 2015 poster artwork.

The poster helps set the tone for New York City's largest ticketed event, which runs from April 3 - 12 at the Javits Center in Manhattan.

This year's poster quite literally reflects the city, while capturing the energy and excitement of the automobile industry.

"The New York Auto Show is known as one of the premier automotive events in the world. It is the place where style, technology, power, and design come together in one place. Our goal with this year's poster was to create a unique piece of art that reflects the excitement of the automobile industry with the uniquely iconic New York City skyline in a fresh and lively way," said show chairman, John LaSorsa.

The attention-grabbing graphic serves many purposes for the event including the basis of an extensive outdoor advertising campaign on major metro area billboards, the New York City Subway, Long Island Rail Road, NY Waterway, and Metro-North Railroad. It is also the focal point of a comprehensive television, print, web and social media advertising campaign.
