(September 18, 2019) Mecum Auctions will return to the Kentucky Exposition Center Sept. 20-21 for Mecum Louisville 2019. The auction is slated to feature an estimated 600 American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, trucks, Hot Rods, Resto Mods and more with offerings coming from across the U.S. and Canada.

Among the most anticipated lots to be offered at the Louisville auction are two Z28 Camaros; the first is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with a matching-numbers M21 4-speed manual transmission that accompanies its DZ-suffix 302/290 HP engine. The car’s factory black paint makes it one of the just 5 percent of Camaros finished as such in 1969.

The other Z28 hails from 1973 and boasts a red exterior with black racing stripes that gleam with a fresh shine following a recent comprehensive restoration that included its 454 CI V-8 engine with 4-barrel carburetor and performance exhaust.

Chock-full of desirable offerings, the Louisville lineup isn’t limited to pony cars, featuring marques built both domestically and abroad with a wide array of options available. Saturday will feature the no-reserve collection offering of nearly a dozen cars from enthusiast Emerson Russell, a selection that ranges from a 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe Street Rod to a 1984 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe.

Other auction highlights include a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible, a 1973 DeTomaso Pantera, a 1941 Mercury Eight Club Convertible and a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback.

Mecum Louisville 2019 is open to buyers, sellers and spectators. Bidder registration is available online in advance for $100, $200 after Sept. 19, and includes admission for two persons to the two auction days. General admission tickets are available in advance online for $20 per person, per day, and for $30 at the door and online after Sept.19; children 12 and younger receive complimentary admission.

Doors open daily at 8 a.m. with the vehicle auction beginning at 11 a.m. Mecum Louisville 2019 will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network for 13 hours.
