Hyundai's seven-passenger Santa Fe to start at $28,350

(February 1, 2013) COSTA MESA, Calif. — Hyundai Motor America has announced pricing for the new six/seven-passenger Santa Fe, starting at $28,350 for the well-equipped Santa Fe GLS FWD and $33,100 for the range topping Santa Fe Limited. At $28,350, shoppers will discover the three-row standard seven-passenger Santa Fe is priced below Ford Explorer, Nissan Pathfinder, Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot.

The all-new Santa Fe also will be the most valuable player in the big game on Sunday, starring in three of the five Hyundai Super Bowl day advertisements, including "Epic Playdate," Hyundai's musical collaboration with legendary alternative rock band, The Flaming Lips. Santa Fe is set to arrive in Hyundai dealerships by the end of February.

"Santa Fe continues Hyundai's unmatched value proposition of providing customers more standard features at a price point that beats the competition," said John Krafcik, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor America.

"The Santa Fe features seven airbags, Hyundai Blue Link, 18-in. wheels, more horsepower and better fuel economy than the outgoing Veracruz at the same price. The Santa Fe lineup of 5, 6 and 7 passenger CUVs offers something for everyone in the crossover segment."
