Electrify America sponsoring ride/drive events across U.S.

(September 12, 2019) RESTON, Va. — In celebration of National Drive Electric Week (Sept. 14-22), Electrify America has announced its sponsorship of 10 Ride and Drive community events in cooperation with Plug In America, a nonprofit group advocating for the shift to plug-in electric vehicles.

Electrify America, a leader in fast charging for electric vehicles (EVs), has provided funding to assist National Drive Electric Week event organizers with various event needs, including signage and material development, event promotion and onsite support.

While at a Ride and Drive event, drivers will have a chance to test drive or ride in EVs, speak with EV auto dealers and current EV owners who have made the switch from traditional gas vehicles and learn about the many advantages of driving electric.
