(September 20, 2019) MAHWAH, N.J. — Jaguar has confirmed the new E-PACE Checkered Flag Limited Edition model will be available in North America for the 2020 model year. Featuring premium design touches and an expanded list of standard features, the E-PACE Checkered Flag Limited Edition builds on the agility, precision and performance customers expect from the brand’s compact performance SUV.

Following introductions of Checkered Flag Limited Edition models within the 2020 Jaguar F-TYPE sports car and the 2020 Jaguar F-PACE performance SUV model lineups, the all-new limited edition derivative will be offered on the 2020 Jaguar E-PACE.

Distinctive exterior features of the E-PACE Checkered Flag Limited Edition include R-Dynamic body-colored front and rear bumpers, twin tailpipes and LED headlamps with signature J-blade daytime running lights, in addition to a Black Exterior Pack. Checkered Flag exterior side badging and 19-inch Satin Dark Grey wheels immediately draw the eye while a powered tailgate and keyless entry add further convenience.

The E-PACE Checkered Flag Limited Edition is available in three colors — Photon Red, exclusive to this model, alongside Corris Grey and Yulong White.

Special appointments continue inside with prominent Checkered Flag branded treadplates and an Ebony Grained Leather interior with red stitching, reinforcing the vehicle’s premium feel.

The limited edition model comes with a comprehensive list of standard features including 10-way heated front seats, a fixed panoramic roof and a 12.3-inch TFT Interactive Driver Display, alongside design enhancements such as an R-Dynamic branded Soft Grain Leather Sport steering wheel, black gearshift paddles and an Ebony Morzine headliner.

The E-PACE Checkered Flag Edition features the brand’s 246 HP 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder gasoline engine with AWD as standard.

All E-PACE models, including the Checkered Flag Limited Edition are available with Smart Settings, the Jaguar brand’s self-learning driver recognition feature. This system is designed to learn drivers’ habits over time serving up key functionality at the right time. This includes automatically adjusting the seat, climate and infotainment based on individual preferences - the car recognizing each driver by their key fob or smartphone Bluetooth signal as they approach.

The Jaguar E-PACE is available with Adaptive Dynamics, offering improved handling response, body control and ride quality. The system is designed to monitor vehicle movements every two milliseconds and calculate the required damping force every 10 milliseconds, allowing the vehicle to respond instantly to driver inputs and road surface changes, providing greater control and assisting in minimizing body roll.
