(March 29, 2019) PALM BEACH, Fla. — Barrett-Jackson will continue to build on its legacy of philanthropy with the auction of three charity vehicles during its 17th Annual Palm Beach Auction from April 11-13 at the South Florida Fairgrounds. To date, Barrett-Jackson has helped raise nearly $115 million for charities across the country.

One-hundred percent of the hammer price from the auction of each charity vehicle sold during the Palm Beach Auction will be used to support the efforts of Wounded Warrior Project, Jeff Gordon’s Children’s Foundation and Reach Out WorldWide.

“Some of the brightest moments in the history of our company have been made when a vehicle sells to assist those in need,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson.

“Over the last 48 years we’ve helped raise nearly $115 million to help organizations in their fight to improve the lives of countless people – not just in our country, but around the world. We’re proud to stand in solidarity with the collector car community again in Palm Beach and continue that legacy of philanthropy with the sale of three incredible charity vehicles.”

On Thursday, April 11, a 2015 Petty’s Garage Ford Mustang GT (below) will be sold with 100 percent of the hammer price benefiting Wounded Warrior Project. A beautiful one-off build, this modern Pony car is powered by a 825 horsepower engine tuned by Petty’s Garage. The Mustang’s exterior features HRE wheels, Wilwood brakes and a custom BASF paint scheme utilizing three Candy colors. Like the King himself, the interior is dressed impeccably, with alligator seats and a custom sound system. It has only 344 actual miles, was honored as one of the top five Mustangs at the 2015 SEMA Show and was featured as a BASF 2015 calendar car.

A 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (below) will cross the block on Friday, April 12, with 100 percent of the hammer price benefiting Jeff Gordon’s Children’s Foundation.



Owned by NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Jeff Gordon, this ZR1 Corvette has only 815 actual miles and features a supercharged 6.2-liter LS9 V8 engine with 638 horsepower. It is the fifth ZR1 built for 2009 and one of 502 in Cyber Gray. Jeff Gordon’s Children’s Foundation helps find cures and better treatment options for kids with cancer.

“Dearborn Doll,” a 2010 Ford Mustang AV-X10 Custom Coupe will cross the block on Saturday, April 13, with 100 percent of the hammer price benefiting Reach Out WorldWide. A one-of-one build, this aviation-inspired Mustang emphasizes the connection with the famous P-51 Mustang aircraft from WWII fame and other aircraft from this era.



It features Ford Performance upgrades throughout including a supercharger, handling pack, tuned exhaust and exhaust tips. The interior features Bader “worn” leather, military khaki-shaded, diamond-tucked unique seat and door inserts. Reach Out WorldWide, which was founded by the late Hollywood actor Paul Walker, helps with the deployment of first responders and other professionals in the medical and construction-related fields who can augment local expertise when natural disasters strike.
