When size matters, Chevy Tahoe stands out among large SUVs

(November 30, 2022) If you’re in the market for a large SUV, sooner or later — probably sooner — you’re going to find yourself in a Chevrolet showroom looking at a new Tahoe and/or Suburban. Likely it will be the Tahoe, which through the third quarter of this year had more than doubled its older stablemate in sales.

Gas prices keep sliding lower



(November 29, 2022) WASHINGTON, D.C. —The national average pump price for a gallon of gas dropped 12 cents in the past week. It is the steepest weekly decline since early August — nearly four months ago. Meanwhile, the cost of oil edged lower on fears of economic slowdowns elsewhere around the globe. Because of these factors, the national average for a gallon of gas fell to $3.54.

EQB compact SUV latest entrant in Mercedes all-electric fleet

(November 24, 2022) Mercedes-Benz keeps expanding its all-electric fleet with a new introductory sub-compact model based on the gas-powered GLB SUV as the latest newcomer. It comes in two versions, the EQB300 and the EQB350, the former providing a bit more in the way of range and the latter more in the way of power and performance. Both come with Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system as standard. This review is based on the EQB350.

Gas prices plunge as drivers hit the road for holiday

That’s the good news. Unfortunately, while lower, this week will see the highest Thanksgiving national average price since AAA started keeping records in 2000.

Thanksgiving travel forecast to increase despite record high gas prices

(November 20, 2022) BOSTON — As Americans prepare to hit the road for Thanksgiving, average gasoline prices will be at their highest seasonal level ever for the weekend according to GasBuddy, a fuel savings platform. The national average is projected to stand at $3.68 on Thanksgiving Day — nearly 30 cents higher than last year, and over 20 cents higher than the previous record of $3.44 set in 2012. But that won’t slow many down, with 20% more Americans planning to hit the road this year.
