Drivers sat in 1.4 million miles of traffic in 2014; Tom Tom gives advice

(January 6, 2015) BURLINGTON, Mass. — Traffic experts at TomTom, who use more than 400 million traffic data sources including community and professional input from fleet telematics, PNDs, and in-dash systems, today revealed that commuters sat in enough traffic during their afternoon commute in 2014 to travel to the moon and back 2.5 times. In 2015, TomTom vows to help commuters spend more time with their loved ones by giving them the gift of time.

(January 5, 2015) RIVERVIEW, Fla. — The Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) will host the 30th Annual 2015 Florida RV SuperShow, Wednesday, Jan. 14 through Sunday, Jan. 18 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.

The 2015 SuperShow will have representation from every major RV manufacturer as well as hundreds of accessory booths exhibitors.  "We will have more Suppliers' booths and every type, size and style of RV on the market," said Marketing Director David Kelly. 

New-car transaction prices reach record high

(January 5, 2015) IRVINE, Calif. — The analysts at Kelley Blue Book today report the estimated average transaction price (ATP) for light vehicles in the United States was $34,367 in December.  New-car prices have increased by $842 (up 2.5 percent) from December 2013, while rising $556 (1.6 percent) from last month. 

Oregon top moving destination of 2014, study finds

(January 2, 2015) ST. LOUIS — Oregon holds on to its title as "Top Moving Destination" and continues to pull away from the pack, while the Northeast loses residents for the third consecutive year. South Carolina and North Carolina are the second and third most moved-to states, according to United Van Lines' 38th Annual National Movers Study, which tracks customers' migration patterns state-to-state during the course of the past year.
