New graphic shows Jeep Wranglers most popular in Florida, D.C.

(May 9, 2019) ROCHESTER, N.Y. — MOPARPartsOnSale.com has created a map to show where the Jeep Wrangler is most popular in the U.S., both by total volume and per capita. Using website analytics, researchers looked at data between April 1, 2017 and April 1, 2019, to see where in the country people searched for Jeep Wrangler replacement parts the most. The results are unexpected.

“What is most interesting about this Jeep Wrangler data is that mountainous regions like Colorado and Utah didn’t make the list,” says Ryan Germeroth, parts manager at MOPARPartsOnSale.com. “Data like this is invaluable when it comes to understanding our customers, who, as it turns out, mostly live in Florida, Texas and Washington, D.C."

Here is some other interesting data that came from the research:

    • Both New York and New Jersey show up in the top 10 on the total drivers list and the per capita list.

    • Drivers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia and other states made the Jeep Wrangler popular in the Northeast region.

    • The only Western state on the list is California.

“Those who don’t live in or near New York or New Jersey probably don’t realize they've got some great off-road trails,” Germeroth says. “Between those and the snow, I’m not that surprised at how many Wrangler drivers there are in those states.”
