Mercedes-Benz has taken its popular E-Class in yet another direction for the 2011 model year — the cabriolet.

Constructed off the E-Class platform and carrying the same underpinnings as the E-Class coupe, the new convertible is a true four-seat open-air work of art.

It comes with V-6 and V-8 options and with the unique AIRCAP System, an automatic wind deflector, designed to lift airflow out of the cabin while driving with the top down.

The new convertible also comes with a traditional soft top, which if nothing else creates a more pleasing styling statement than the steel top convertibles.
