New tool helps classic Chevy owners identify original hubcaps

(February 24, 2015) A new online tool makes it easy for classic Chevy owners and enthusiasts to look up original hubcap sizes, specs, and images, many of which were captured from original brochures. H&H Classic Parts sponsored the creation of this new tool, which is essentially an online database of original Chevrolet wheel and hubcap info for the Nova II, Impala, Chevelle, Tri-Five, and classic Chevy trucks.

“Wheel covers are complicated," says Tray Smith, vice president of H&H Classic Parts, the company which sponsored the creation of the tool.

Jeeps welcome to Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival with record in sight

(February 11, 2015) BUTLER, Pa. — Jeeps will make history in Butler again!  In celebration of the 75th birthday of the Bantam Jeep, the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival plans to break its own Guinness World Record as part of the fifth annual event on June 12-14.

The Guinness World Records Largest Parade of Jeeps will take place on Friday, June 12, with up to 2,500 Jeeps driving from Butler County Community College to downtown Butler. 

The strange story of the twin rear-axle Oldsmobile limousine

(February 5, 2015) American Quality Coach was formed around 1968 by Wlado J. Cotner and Robert Bevington to manufacture coaches based on the Oldsmobile Toronado, built by General Motors starting in 1966, according to an account by Mark Theobald and Bernie DeWinter at Coachbuilt.com.

Cotner and Bevington planned a complete line of coaches including hearses, ambulances, combination cars and limousines. But their first product was an airport limousine, the AQC Jetway 707.

Mecum Auctions makes history with nearly $70 million in sales
