Harley-Davidson revving up for 76th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

(July 19, 2016) MILWAUKEE — With a rockin' beat and a rolling rumble Harley-Davidson is set to take over the 76th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. As the official motorcycle of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Harley-Davidson plans to pack more unbridled fun and pure riding experience than ever into this week-long celebration of freedom and the open road. Harley-Davidson will roll into the historic South Dakota Black Hills region with activities planned from Aug. 6-13.

BMW Motorrad partners with Rever to build community of motorcyclists

(July 18, 2016) Planning the most beautiful routes, riding them with like-minded motorcyclists, sharing experiences during the day and talking gasoline at night. With this in mind, BMW Motorrad has entered into a strategic partnership with the technology start-up Rever in order to build up a global community of motorcyclists.

Since launching in 2015, Rever users have tracked millions of miles on motorcycle rides in 119 countries around the world.

Honda demo rides planned for Americade

(June 1, 2016) American Honda will be conducting demo rides for attendees of the Americade touring motorcycle rally, set to take place June 6-11 in Lake George, N.Y. The hugely popular annual event includes a convention, trade show, guided tours and more, with attendees getting the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful roads of Adirondack Park.

Honda will be on hand offering demo rides on a long list of models, including the new VFR1200X and CRF1000L Africa Twin, as well as the Gold Wing, F6B, CB1100F, CBR1000RR, NC700X, CTX700, CB500X, CBR300R and more.

BMW sponsoring Sisters' Centennial Motorcycle ride in July

(April 5, 2016) WOODCLIFF LKAE, N.J. — BMW Motorrad USA will be the title sponsor of the Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride, a cross country motorcycle adventure for women, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Adeline and Augusta Van Buren’s historic motorcycle ride across the United States.

BMW Motorrad USA will provide motorcycles for the ride organizer and staff, and BMW of North America will provide BMW X5 chase vehicles and a 7 Series photography-equipped vehicle along the entire route.

BMW offering demo motorcycle rides at Circuit of the Americas

(April 3, 2016) WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. — For the first time, BMW Motorrad USA will roll out its demo truck and separate display at the upcoming MotoGP races, April 8-10, at Circuit of The Americas outside of downtown Austin, Texas. Attendees can sign up for demo rides at the demo truck.

The BMW Motorrad USA demo area display will showcase 2016 BMW motorcycle models and apparel. BMW Motorrad Motorsports advisor and factory test rider Nate Kern will also be on hand to share his expertise on the BMW S 1000 RR superbike.

BMW to sponsor handbuilt motorcycle show in Austin, Texas
