Ford Silicon Valley lab now officially open for business in Palo Alto

Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford today comes to the spiritual home of the computer and consumer electronics industry to celebrate the grand opening of the Ford Silicon Valley Lab and to participate in the Computer History Museum’s “Revolutionaries” lecture series.

Hyundai Elantra Coupe to start at $17,445

(June 18, 2012) COSTA MESA, Calif. — Hyundai has announced pricing for the new Elantra Coupe, starting at $17,445 for the well-equipped Elantra Coupe GS and $19,745 for the sport-tuned Elantra Coupe SE.

Hyundai says that at $17,445 shoppers will discover best-in-class fuel economy, and more horsepower and interior space than Civic Coupe.

Kia Sorento to get numerous upgrades for 2013

Nissan official predicts electric Leaf sales will double in coming months

(June 18, 2012) Nissan predicts it will double its U.S. sales of the electric Leaf during this fiscal year to 20,000 units, according to Nissan official Bill Krueger.

A new plant in Smyrna, Tenn., will be ready to make the cars in December, helping boost supply before the fiscal year ends in March, Krueger said Saturday.

Nissan Juke turned into 'Juke Box"

(June 15, 2012) LONDON — Get out the ear plugs. Nissan has and Ministry of Sound have created the Juke Box, an ear-splitting sound system for the Nissan Juke.

They have created the world's ultimate mobile sound system — louder than a jumbo jet in take-off. The technical know-how for the Juke Box comes from sound experts Martin Audio, who designed and built the current system in the infamous "Bo" — the main room in Ministry of Sound's London home.
