Jimmy Fallon asked his followers to tweet responses to his questions about road trips full of unexpected events, which ultimately created the script.

Strong demand for cars, crossovers fuels January sales

(February 2, 2013) All three U.S. automakers — General Motors, Ford and Chrysler — enjoyed big sales gains in January compared to January 2012, according to monthly sales figures relesed Friday. And Toyota saw the biggest huge jump in U.S. sales.

Demand pushed the seasonally adjusted sales rate to 15.3 million, slightly below December's 15.4-million rate but well above January 2012's 13.97 million.

At Porsche, it's best January sales ever

(February 2, 2013) ATLANTA — Porsche Cars North America, importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars, Cayenne SUVs and the Panamera four-door sports sedan line-up in the United States, has announced record January sales of 3,358 vehicles.

This compares to 2,550 vehicles sold in January 2012, an increase of 32 percent. The successful month follows Porsche’s record-setting year in the U.S., with 35,043 vehicles sold in 2012.

Encore arrives at dealers as Buick's January sales best in nine years

Ford makes major donation to Smithsonian Spark!Lab program

Nissan to expand its vehicle quick-charging infrastructure in U.S.
