The survey on car-naming behavior investigates the depth of the emotional connection between consumers and their cars as represented by the degree to which they personify and ascribe a gender to their vehicles.

NADA: Used vehicle prices climb for fifth straight year

(January 8, 2014) BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Nearly all drivers could improve what is in their trunk to be better prepared for roadside emergencies. A new survey by State Farm and KRC Research shows two-thirds of drivers (67 percent) had some sort of "junk" in their trunk ranging from car detailing equipment to toys and used food or drink containers.

Kelley Blue Book reveals most and least popular auto brands by region

(January 7, 2014) IRVINE, Calif. — KBB.com research reveals most and least popular auto brands and segments by U.S. region based on online traffic of more than 10 million adults.  

Research reveals in-market new-car shoppers from the Western region of the U.S. are 85 percent more likely to consider Tesla than shoppers from other regions.  Out of all regions, Southerners are the least influenced by brand when shopping for a car as evidenced by a relatively small 17 percent preference for Infiniti over other brands.
