2017 Audi Q7

PHOENIX — The original Audi Q7 SUV has been around since 2007, when it was introduced to compete with Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X5 and Volvo XC90. But sales never approached those of the Mercedes or BMW offerings.  For 2017 Audi has completely redesigned the Q7. In the process, it shed some 474 pounds, an unusually huge amount for any vehicle.

Audi A4 — Getting it right

By Jim Meachen and Ted Biederman

To get the full benefit of the subtle styling changes of the all-new Audi A4 you will have to park the 2017 next to the 2016 version. It's still conservatively handsome in an Audi sort of way, but under the skin the differences are many — the new model is more powerful with improved fuel economy, has been endowed with a very attractive reworked interior, features spacious quarters for second-row passengers, and sports an array of new safety and technology components.

Audi TT — Technologically advanced sports car

By David Finkelstein

The expressive 2016 Audi TT Coupe as well as its sister Roadster Convertible clearly equate to a no compromise sports car in every way. From its design to it's signature passing power and performance, TT drives and handles with welcomed precision. No doohickey gimmickry here — just a well crafted automobile loaded with pleasurable creature comforts.

Audi Q3 — Lux CUV goes small

By Jim Meachen and Ted Biederman

Subcompact crossovers are all the rage these days in luxury and non-luxury guise, small enough to toss around on the road yet big enough to haul four adults with a modicum of cargo in a relatively fuel efficient package. On the luxury side, the Audi Q3 entered the U.S. market for the 2015 model year after being sold in Europe and elsewhere since 2011 proving it's never too late to jump into a growing segment.

2015 Audi Q3

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Audi Q3 2.0T Premium Plus Quattro Tiptronic is a mouthful of name for a compact crossover. On some versions, Audi actually manages to include much, but not all, of this information on the rear liftgate. Breaking down this nomenclature tells us that it’s Audi’s all-new entry-level crossover.

Audi A3 — Quality in a small package

By Jim Meachen and Ted Biederman

Size no longer defines the quality and overall excellence of an automobile. Looking back to the second half of the 20th Century, smaller generally meant cheaper in terms of build quality and level of equipment. This began changing a decade ago and now some of the most rapidly expanding segments in the luxury ranks are made up of smaller sedans and crossovers loaded with all the good stuff we expect from a premium vehicle.

2015 Audi A3 sedan

PALO ALTO, Calif. — It’s a natural tendency for each new generation of a car to be slightly larger than its predecessor. I was vividly reminded of that when I walked out of a store just a couple of weeks after the all-new 2015 Audi A3 sedan was introduced and saw one in the wild so to speak. Initially I thought it was an A4 before I recognized it as the new A3, the smallest car sold by Audi in the USA.

Audi A6 TDI — Diesel taken to a new level

By Jim Meachen and Ted Biederman

Audi's reputation for building some of the most desirable cars in the world continues to grow with stylish remakes of mid-sized vehicles that stand out with automotive sophistication, delightful interiors and impeccable driving demeanors. And now the A6 for 2014 with a new fuel-efficient 3.0-liter V-6 diesel engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission makes it even better.

Audi A4 — A refreshening that works

By Jim Meachen and Ted Biederman

Competition is fierce in the entry-level luxury sports sedan segment, but we found again as we have in the recent past that the Audi A4 is very capable of holding its own against such stalwarts as the BMW 3-Series, Infiniti G and Cadillac ATS.

Audi Q5 — As good as it gets

By Jim Meachen and Ted Biederman

For the person who wants to venture into the luxury world of crossovers, the Audi Q5 offers a right-sized vehicle for up to four passengers that will reward its owner every time he or she cranks up the engine. We found it a delicious mix of outstanding driving dynamics and luxury appointments, with a silky, comfortable ride.
